India Remove levy of ADD (Anti-Dumping Duty on Colour coated / pre-painted flat products of alloy or non-alloy steel originating in or exported from China PR and European Union.  

On 29 June 2016, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry issued a notice to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against coloured painted panels originating or imported from China and the European Union.  

On August 30, 2017, India issued a final affirmative anti-dumping ruling on the case, recommending the imposition of anti-dumping duties on the products imported from or originating in China and the European Union based on the difference between the CIF price and the minimum price of US $822 / mt.  On 17 October 2017, the Ministry of Finance issued Notification No. 49/2017-Customs(ADD), which decided to impose anti-dumping duties on products from China and the EU in the form of minimum prices for a period of five years from 11 January 2017 to 10 January 2022.  On July 26, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced the initiation of the first sunset review of anti-dumping investigation against painted panels from Or imported from China and the Eu.  On October 8, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued a final affirmative ruling on the case, recommending that anti-dumping duties continue to be imposed on products from China and the EU in the form of a minimum price 

of $822 / metric ton.  The case involves products under Indian customs codes 7210, 7212, 7225 and 7226.  The products involved do not include boards with a thickness of 6 mm or more.
